![]() If you're dying lots, combining shutdowns with your secondary (make sure the shutdown wave hits the boss first), is probably the most efficient use of powerups. Staying away lowers your DPS with most androids, though, so for S+ and scoring it's probably not great. The bullet hell bit - I personally find it's easier to avoid dying on the bullet hell phase if you stay far from the core and keep circling around the core. The bosses in Medulla are pretty similar to their last phase in regular, so any tips on the guides should work there too. ![]() Shiitake is also pretty good (she's far easier vs bosses), especially when you get to the last bit. Although that will varies lots with how you play and what you're most comfortable with. IMHO lemon's probably not the easiest for Medulla. Is it worth it training up as one of those two and coming back, or is Lemon fine? Or do the other androids have advantages that could be useful? Note that I'm playing as Lemon due to her alt weapon having multiple fires before overheating (helps with the invuln frames trick mentioned above), but most videos I've seen use Starch or Cactus. I'm having a lot of trouble, and there's nothing really helpful in the Steam Guides/on Youtube about this fight yet, so any help would be greatly appreciated! ![]() I think it's because I end up losing too much battery time and/or weapon power during Vespula's stage, but I honestly can't tell. I've got a couple of strategies with the alt weapon invulnerability frames & powerup cycling at the moment, but I've been consistently dying in either the Vespula stage, the Justice stage or the bullet hell stage in between. So I'm up to the boss fight against Medulla, and it's seriously difficult I'm not even going for S or S+ scores, I'm just trying to beat her at this point.
